Yu-Gi-Oh! (GBA)
Utter crap! I am not a YuGiOh fan, so I will not attack the gameplay as much. The first thing you do is choose your deck. There are 3 to choose from, and I don’t see the point. At the very beginning, Tea(or someone) will talk to you. You can see already that there is an excessive amount of dialog. In ‘Campaign’ you can fight 5 different people which are the main characters of the cartoon. The battles are grid like, and the background is constantly moving. With the background like that I get dizzy. The songs are not the best selection, but they aren’t the worst. I haven’t played the card game since I was 6 or 7. You play in ‘phrases’. At the end, if you won or lost, you will get a last word from them. It is usually a sermon or a speech! Sometimes you need a new booster deck to help you out. You can play multi-player with someone, if you can find someone willing enough to waste their time! There is a ‘card trading’ option, which means you can trade with a friend. Even if the game is bad, that is a nice feature. There isn’t much else to do other than do battles with the same people; which gets boring over time. The difficulty and learning curve is no problem. Overall the game is not bad. Sound: 8.5 Nice seletion surprisingly OVERALL: 7.5(not an average) I am not a fan of YuGiOh, but they could have made some interesting gameplay. Popularity: 15% [?]
Graphics: 6.0 Everything looks like a pixel with a wierd background!
Difficulty: 9.5 Very easy and great for small gamers
Multi-player: 8.5 Nice trading innovation
Replayability(also counts as general gameplay):6.5 The game lasts on and on, and you’ll find yourself crying for xbox.
