Super Mario Advance (GBA)

I picked this game up when I got my Game Boy Advance and I can tell you, it was worth it.

It is actually a Super Mario Bros. 2 from the NES remake; bundled with the original Mario Bros. They updated it with better graphics and sound. The songs are very nice at first, but do get repetitive after a while. Turn the sound off and tune up your stereo.

You can pick through four characters: Mario, Luigi, Toad, and Princess Peach. They all have different abilities.

Mario: Average, can’t jump that high; but can run semi-fas. He is the original of the bunch.

Luigi: Jumps very high, but he is very slow. My favorite of the bunch.

Toad: Useless, enough said

PP: Can hover in the air, alot better than toad.

The levels are fun, always filled with alot of monsters. It is alot different than Super Mario 1 or 3. You can save your progress through the levels witch is helpful believe me.

There is a multi-player option for Mario Bros., so hook up and take down Shell guys, lobsters, flys, and many other creatures.

Sound: 8.0 It’s ok, but gets tiering
Graphics: 8.5 Very nice for a GBA Game
Difficulty: 9.0 Not hard in any way, just have to be patient
Multi-player: 8.0 Very simple, could have done better by adding multi-player for SMB 2 and not just Mario Bros
Replayability: 7.5 After you beat SMB 2, theres no reason to play again. You might pop in Mario Bros from time to time.

OVERALL: 8.5(not an average)

It’s fun to play, a plus is that it’s portable; but if your at home, play some Contra or Call of Duty
